My Second Beginnings

Personally, I believe it's always a good thing to recall and honor our heritage

Our own personal history
The beings and events that have shaped our lives

My own history has been remarkable
And of it I'm proud

Much of what my life was like before it began anew is lost 

to all but one's imagination

But the days since I was once again found and thankfully rehomed

are documented in a way that I and my family will always remember

Perhaps, and hopefully, for generations to come
